Sophie Bradford's Baptism

Our granddaughter, Sophie was baptized on Saturday March 5, 2011 in West Jordan. We had a confusing time trying to find the Stake Center. They delayed the baptism until we could get there. I felt bad but grateful. I'm really proud of Sophie and her choice to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Sorry the picture is sideways. I borrowed it from Tori's blog this way.)

Evelyn Larson

Evelynn Larson joined our family on Monday, March 28, 2011. Krystal gave birth that morning in the Blue Mountain Hospital in Blanding. Don and I hurried over as soon as we could get away from work that afternoon. Evie is grandchild # 18 for us. She is the first grandchild for Krystal's parents.

Thanksgiving 2010 in Clinton, Utah

We gathered at Megan and Josh's house in Clinton for Thanksgiving. Michael, Carly, and Ryan came up from Orem. Katie and Curtis and family drove down from Idaho, picking up Don in Logan on the way. Amelia and Tyler and family and Tori and Chris and family came up from West Jordan. Edward and Krystal went to Enterprise. Thanksgiving morning, Ann and Peter came over to show us Ann's water colors and Peter gave us a small book filled with his temple photographs. Lots of food, lots of visiting, lots of fun.

The Will Rogers Follies

Mom, Dad, and Krystal were in the chorus for The Will Rogers Follies produced by the Edge of the Seaters Theatre Company in conjunction with the San Juan High School Drama Department. Edward was also in thc chorus and was a dancer and played Wiley Post. We had four tremendous performances to packed audiences. It was a lot of fun. Willamania . . .

Occupational Hazards

Walking to class from my office, I stumbled up the stairs, hitting my leg on the stairs. It bruised the leg and the bruise oozed down through the tissue of the leg to my foot. Then my leg swelled up as the white blood cells worked on the bruise. It took nearly two months to get over the tenderness and swelling. Luckily I didn't have a break.
