Autumn on the Blues

We took a drive last Monday for FHE. We went up on the Monticello side of the Blues. It was beautiful. There were a lot of deer on the side of the road. It was a nice way to welcome in autumn. My pictures really don't show the colors. We are grateful for the beauties of this world.

Drive up the Mountain with the Puppies

We went for a ride up the mountain with Edward, Krystal, Oden and Loki. The dogs really didn't like having to stay in the back of the car. They were nervous and ended up riding on Grandma and Grandpa's laps. Who can resist those big eyes? They both loved running through the stream. They are truly water dogs. This stream comes out at the end of the tunnel that Chris' grandfather helped build to bring water from the Monticello side of the mountain to the Blanding
side.

Marissa's Baptism

We were blessed in being able to drive to Idaho to be at Marissa's baptism on Sept. 5th, 2009. Marissa is blessed to have a loving family. We are grateful to be part of that family.

We are proud of Marissa and her choice to be baptized. She is really growing up.
She also has three lovely sisters.

Edward and Krystal were able to come with us. It was really wonderful to be with Katie's family for the weekend. We were also able to stop and visit with Don's brother, Jon, and Sally. We stopped to see Megan and Josh and their new house too. We were tired but it was a good weekend.

Michael and Carly's Open House in Orem

I'm slow but here are some pictures of the Open House which was held on Aug. 15th, 2009 in Orem. Jason and Janice's backyard was a nice setting. We had an enjoyable evening.
We were surprised to have Bishop and Julene C. and Debbie C. come up from Blanding.

Here are some more pictures from the open house on Aug. 15th at Jason and Janice's house in Orem. We are so grateful to them for letting us have it there. It was a nice evening. Thanks to everyone who helped.
